Captured by Tom Booth’s CD Release Party!
Lizz joined Tom Booth and a small gathering of old friends last weekend as they took to the hills of Tucson at the Redemptorist Renewal Center for a celebration of the release of his new CD, Captured. Tom performed a concert of the songs on the new album, and hosted a wine and cheese reception after the show. As stated by Tom concerning the songs, “A lot of prayer, work and time went into them – and the recording. Co-produced by Jeff Thomas, Captured is a unique recording that will be released on iTunes and spiritandsong.com on 11/11.”
Remembering the days gone by of college fun, Lizz and Tom have been friends since they played and sang together in a folk group for Mass at the Newman Center at the Unversity of Arizona, where they received their degrees. The gathering this weekend included friends such as, David Burba (Percussion, Mandolin & Dolbro), Tom Burba, John Booth, Leticia (Ruiz), and many others.
