About Us
Ealisaid Entertainment℠ began as a subsidiary under the parent organization of Lizzdmc Productions LLC℠ to promote the performances and public appearances of Lizz Reeves. The company is also registered as an active Publisher with The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). Ealisaid (pronounced: el-uhs-AYD) means ‘My God is a vow’ in Manx Gaelic.
Lizz first appeared on stage as a soloist for The Year of The Child in Tucson, AZ, where President Ronald Reagan was the keynote speaker. She studied Musical Theatre at The University of Arizona. Consequently, Lizz was frequently seen performing for the Arizona Repertory Theater, where she appeared as Catherine in A View from the Bridge, Anne Boleyn in Anne of the Thousand Days, and Joann in Godspell, in addition to The Apple Tree, Follies, and Macbeth.
Immediately following her college graduation, Lizz toured under professional contract throughout the United States and Mexico with the International Cast of Up With People for the period of one and a half years, headlining their famous song, both in English and in Spanish, Can We Sing a Song of Peace? She went on to record Keeping in Touch for the Up With People – Beat of the Future album. Other music credits include traveling throughout Italy in an extensive concert tour with the St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Faith Community Tour Choir, where she sang for High Mass at St. Peters Basilica in Vatican City.
The release of her much awaited Latin single, Mujer Liberada, produced and published by Ealisaid Entertainment℠ on the Baby Cat Records℠ indie label, received radio air play on the KLOV Latin radio station in Los Angeles, CA, and was performed live at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, NV. More recent music projects include the release of the soundtrack for the original musical, Suite Moms, and a jazz CD album with the KD Quartet called Smooth, Sassy and Soulful.
Lizz is also an accomplished musician who plays several instruments, including piano, guitar and mandolin. She has played in the orchestra pit for various regional musicals, such as the world premier of The Man Who Would Be King, as well as on stage as Vi Petty in Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story and Joann in Godspell. Lizz has also lent her vocal and instrumental talents to many a band recording, as well as performed live with several rock and country bands, such as Innuendo, Silent Xchange, Twister, Special Effects, Second Hand Newz, and The Saddle City Band. The single, Country Girl of Denver, recorded with the late John E. Mann & The Country Kings, was a local hit on the country radio stations of Arizona.
Lizz continues to perform on stage in regional theater productions and cabarets. She was seen as the impressive Diva, known as the Lady of the Lake, in two full runs of Monty Python’s Spamalot at Fountain Hills Theater for which she received a Fountain Hills Theater Prizm Award for Best Actress in a Musical and an ariZoni Theatre Awards of Excellence Nomination for the same. She appeared as Vicki Nichols in The Full Monty for Mesa Encore Theatre, and there also reprised her role of the Lady of the Lake in Monty Python’s Spamalot. Most recently, Lizz portrayed Abigail Adams in 1776: The Musical and Sister Mary Hubert in Nunsense: The Mega Musical for Zao Theatre. Shortly thereafter, at the same venue, Lizz reprised her legendary role of Mother in Ragtime: The Musical, which she had originally played 8 years earlier at Scottsdale Desert Stages Theatre.
